Animals Deconstructed.
A sheep named Bertie.
Bertie like most animals do not have really expressive faces. They could be suffering deeply and we wouldn’t have a clue. The idea behind this and other deconstructed animals is to portray the feeling of animals struggling to survive and play their part in life.
Approximately 8 inches tall with a deep grey patina
Cost: 700.00 (includes shipping to continental US)
Part of a sheep, named Ellen.
This is a one of a kind sculpture emphasizing the beauty of parts.
Approximately 7 inches tall, with a dark brown patina.
Cost: 700. (includes shipping to continental US)
A mother moose and her calf. These two are very close. The mom will take on a grizzly if need be.
These two were seen on a wonderful documentary film in Norway. The mother is about 9 inches tall and the child about 4. The mother is squeezed and bent and distorted in an effort to portray the suffering these creatures go through to survive in a shrinking habitat.
Cost: 700.00 for the mother and 400 for the young calf. (includes shipping to continental US)
Dog with crutches.
This sculpture was created with the idea of valuing animals as we would a person of the family. The cost and trouble to care for him after an accident.
Cost: 700.00 (includes shipping to continental US)
Jill the jackrabbit.
This sculpture was based on a jack rabbit I came across in the foothills of the Sandia mountains. She’s on her way to the foundry, to be transformed from wax to bronze.
Jackrabbits are rodents and like most rabbits are not held in high regard. The are fantastic creatures who contend with all sorts of predators, including cars, trucks and boys with rifles.
Approximately 14 inches from toes to ear tips.
Cost: 750.00 (includes shipping to continental US)
Hank the Calf
This calf tangled with a tractor, but Hank’s owner suited him up with a wheel barrel front for roaming around the field.
About 5 inches tall, with a light gold patina. One of a kind.
Cost: 550.00 (includes shipping to continental US)
