Penny has not been cast, yet. The idea behind this deconstruction is to portray the inner life of horses, who have been domesticated and their instincts curtailed.

Hippos Swimming (clay)

These hippos were sculpted at the Albuquerque BioPark. Mother Karen gave birth to a healthy girl, named Matilda, in 2021.

Baby hippo is approximately 2.5″ height X 6″ length; Mama hippo is approximately 2″ height X 7″ length.

Half of the purchase price will be donated to the Biopark to help Karen pay for Matilda’s college fund.

Rat Looking Up (wax)

Rats are incredible creatures. They can squeeze through spaces no larger than their skulls, jump four times the length of their body and can solve almost any puzzle presented to them. This guy is very curious and quite beautiful.
